Up up and away!

As we continue to build momentum, we want to extend a huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Inverness for their incredibly generous donation of two hoists.

These will be instrumental in enabling our service users to transfer safely and comfortably into the beach wheelchairs.

Securing this equipment marks another vital step in preparing our base of operations. Every addition like this brings us closer to ensuring that Nairn beach is fully accessible for everyone in our community.

We are also deeply grateful to Neil Ross of Arjo, who kindly visited us today to service the equipment. Thanks to his expertise, our new hoists have officially received their health and safety seal of approval.

Having these essential pieces of equipment now in our possession allows us to move forward with confidence. It means that when we welcome our visitors to the beach, we can provide not just the freedom of movement that the chairs offer, but also the peace of mind that comes with robust, professional-grade transfer equipment.

We are incredibly proud of the progress made this November and remain focused on finalising the small details that will make our service safe, welcoming, and ready for action.
